OXB-204 is a lentiviral-based therapy for the ocular disease LCA10 (Leber’s congenital amaurosis variant 10), which is caused by defects in the CEP290 gene. Symptoms include loss of light sensitivity (difficulty seeing at night), nystagmus, poor pupil reactions and reduction in peripheral vision. LCA is a rare inherited eye disease that manifests early in a patient’s life.
