Our in-house capabilities span research, clinical development, regulatory affairs and manufacturing. At the end of 2008, our staff numbered 76, mainly based in laboratories and offices in Oxford. We also have a wholly owned subsidiary, BioMedica Inc, based in San Diego, USA.

Oxford BioMedica develops gene-based medicines for the treatment of cancer, neurodegenerative and ocular diseases. A number of products are being tested in clinical trials including a cancer vaccine and a gene therapy for Parkinson's disease.
