Results Of Rights Issue
The 1 for 5 Rights Issue by the Company of
up to 23,707,169 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Rights
Shares") at 15 pence per Rights Share closed at 3.00 pm on
25 March 1999. The Directors are pleased to announce that
21,749,386 Rights Shares were taken up by shareholders which
represents an aggregate take-up of 91.75 per cent. This figure
includes the 9,429,867 Rights Shares which have been placed
firm with institutional and other shareholders.
It is expected that definitive share certificates in respect
of the Rights Shares will be despatched to shareholders by
31 March 1999. |
