Alan Goodman has agreed to become Chairman
and will devote a considerable amount of time to help the
Company as it moves its lead products into clinical development
and seeks strong collaborative partners.
Alan Kingsman, Chief Executive Officer of
Oxford BioMedica commented: "Brian has always been there to
help support the Company during its early development. As
we seek collaborations and gear up to undertake our clinical
trial programme we have demanded more and more of his time.
This has conflicted with a number of his other obligations
and he has therefore asked the Board if he can stand down.
Reluctantly we have accepted his resignation
but are confident that the commitment that Alan Goodman can
give to the Company over the next twelve months will ensure
that our progress is not affected in any way."
