OXFORD BIOMEDICA: NOTICE OF FY2004 PRELIMINARY RESULTS

Oxford BioMedica (LSE:OXB.L), the leading gene therapy company, announces that it will be releasing its preliminary results for the twelve months ended 31 December 2004 on Monday, 21 March 2005.

Meetings:

An analyst briefing will be held at 10:00 am on the day followed by a press briefing which will commence at 11:30 am. The venue for both meetings will be Buchanan Communications, 107 Cheapside, London EC2V 6DN.

Web cast:

Simultaneously to the analyst briefing at 10.00 am, there will be a live audio web cast of the results presentation.

1. Oxford BioMedica

Oxford BioMedica (LSE: OXB) is a biopharmaceutical company specialising in the development of novel gene-based therapeutics with a focus on the areas of oncology and neurotherapy. The Company was established in 1995 as a spin out from Oxford University, and is listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Oxford BioMedica has core expertise in gene delivery, as well as in-house clinical, regulatory and manufacturing know-how. Oxford BioMedica has corporate collaborations with Wyeth, Intervet, Amersham, Viragen, MolMed and Kiadis; and has licensed technology to a number of companies including Merck & Co and Biogen Idec.
