PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
ImmStat is a novel gene-based therapeutic for HIV infection and AIDS, based on potent HIV-based vectors designed to protect the immune system of HIV+ patients. This therapeutic strategy aims to create a population of immune cells within the patient that does not support the replication of HIV and which is unaffected by the emergence of resistant virus. The goal of ImmStat is to reduce viral loads and maintain an asymptomatic state in HIV positive individuals. This product aims to provide a novel additional strategy to deploy alongside current drugs, working synergistically to treat the disease.
