DESCRIPTION
EndoAngio-GT is in development as an anti-cancer gene therapy based
on the anti-angiogenic genes, endostatin and angiostatin. The rationale is that the product will prevent the formation
of new blood vessels, called angiogenesis, at tumour sites, inhibiting the growth and spread of the tumours. The development
of EndoAngio-GT is expected to benefit from synergies with the RetinoStat programme, as the product utilises the same
therapeutic genes.

A wide range of solid cancers.
MARKET
Roche/Genentech's anti-angiogenic cancer treatment, Avastin®, generates annualised sales in excess of $3 billion.
